We have officially joined woman's division II, Western Rugby Union. This means stepping up our level of play, the intensity of our practices and our dedication to the sport. We will travel to Houston on May 1st to play both Dallas and Houston in our bid for West DII champs in the fall of 2010. We have also dedicated ourselves to supporting girls high school rugby in Albuquerque. We are holding a girls high school rugby camp on March 20th at Johnson Field beginning at 10 AM. Thank you to Whole Foods for providing the healthy meal at the event!

 

About the Atomic Sisters

The Atomic Sisters Rugby Football Club was established in 1993 by a rag tag group of women who's motto was "if you don't win the game, win the party." Well they sometimes won the games, but they always won the party and that is as true today as it was 16 years ago. Our team is commited to learn the skills to be a force to be reckoned with on the pitch and also to maintain the social traditions that bring teams together after the games, making rugby such a unique experience. We may not be the national rugby champs, but we will always win the beer bridge.
